【 용 례 】 시가의 변동으로 금액에 미달하게 된 때에는 지체없이 이를 보전하고, 금융위원회에 그 뜻을 보고하여야 한다 If the price falls short of the amount required because of a change of the current price, the insurance agency shall, without delay, compensate for the difference and report the fact to the Financial Services Commission. 

【 용 례 】 관리공단은 매 회계연도에 결산상 잉여금이 있을 때에는 손실금을 보전하고, 나머지는 이를 사립학교교직원연금 기금의 수입으로 하여야 한다 The Foundation shall, where there accrues any surplus in settlement of accounts of every fiscal year, use such surplus to offset any loss and include the remainder, if any, in a revenue of the Pension Fund for Private School Teachers and Staff. 

【 용 례 】 공단은 매 사업연도말의 결산결과 잉여금이 생긴 때에는 이월손실을 보전하고 나머지는 다음 연도에 이월하여 사용할 수 있다 The Corporation may, in case any profit accrues as a result of the closing entry of accounts at the end of each business year, replenish the losses carried forward, and use the remainder by carrying it forward to the following year. 

【  용  례  】 3사업연도이상 계속하여 결손을 내고 그 결손이 보전되지 아니한 기업체 Enterprises showing deficits for three consecutive business years or more, and such deficits have not been supplemented.

【 용 례 】 국가 또는 지방자치단체가 부담하는 부담금(이하 “연금부담금”이라 한다)의 금액은 매 회계연도의 보수예산의 1,000분의 85의 범위 안에서 대통령령이 정하는 비율을 곱한 금액으로 한다. 다만, 국가 또는 지방자치단체는 급여중 퇴직급여 및 유족급여(유족연금 및 유족보상금을 제외한다)에 소요되는 비용을 기여금 및 연금부담금으로 충당할 수 없는 경우에는 그 부족한 금액(이하 “보전금”이라 한다)을 대통령령이 정하는 바에 의하여 부담하여야 한다 The amount of the charges borne by the State or local governments(hereinafter referred to as the “pension charges”) shall be the amount multiplied by the ratio prescribed by Presidential Decree within the limit of 85/1,000 of the budget of remunerations in each fiscal year: Provided, That in cases where the contributions and the pension charges are unable to be appropriated for the expenditures for the retirement benefits and bereaved family’s benefits (excluding the bereaved family’s pension and the bereaved family’s compensation) among the benefits, the State or local governments shall bear the relevant insufficient amount (hereinafter referred to as the “supplementary money”) under the conditions as prescribed by Presidential Decree. 

【 용 례 】 국토해양부장관은 대리시공에 따른 손실이 발생한 때에는 이를 보전할 수 있도록 대리시공자에 대하여 대통령 령이 정하는 바에 따라 필요한 협조와 지원을 하여야 한다 Where any loss occurs due to the substitute execution, the Minister of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs shall, in accordance with Presidential Decree, provide the substitute executor with necessary cooperation and assistance to indemnify the loss. 

【 용 례 】 경주사업자는 전년도 사업에 손실이 생긴 때에는 당해연도의 수익금을 전년도의 손실금 보전에 충당할 수 있다 If the racing businessman suffered a loss in the previous year, the earnings of the current year may be used to make up the loss of the previous year.
