【 용 례 】 ”방문판매”라 함은 재화 또는 용역(일정한 시설을 이용하거나 용역의 제공을 받을 수 있는 권리를 포함한다. 이하 같다)의 판매(위탁 및 중개를 포함한다. 이하 같다)를 업으로 하는 자(이하 “판매업자”라 한다)가 방문의 방법으로 그의 영업소·대리점 기타 총리령이 정하는 영업장소(이하 “사업장”이라 한다)외의 장소에서 소비자에게 권유하여 계약의 청약을 받거나 계약을 체결(사업장외의 장소에서 권유 등 총리령이 정하는 방법에 의하여 소비자를 유인하여 사업장에서 계약의 청약을 받거나 계약을 체결하는 경우를 포함한다)하여 재화 또는 용역(이하 “재화등”이라 한다)을 판매하는 것을 말한다 The term “door-to-door sales” means that any person (hereinafter referred to as a “sales business operator”) who runs the business of selling (including commission and brokerage; hereinafter the same shall apply) goods or services (including the use of certain facilities and the right entitled to the provision of services; hereinafter the same shall apply) sells such goods or services (hereinafter referred to as “goods, etc.”) by receiving contract subscriptions from consumers or entering into contracts with consumers after soliciting them to do so by means of visit at the place other than his/her office of business, agency, and place of business prescribed by ordinance of the Prime Minister (hereinafter referred to as the “place of business”) (including a case where contract subscriptions are received or contracts are concluded at the place of business after soliciting consumers at the place other than the place of business in a manner prescribed by ordinance of the Prime Minister.
