【 용 례 】 공무원이 취급하는 사건 또는 사무에 관하여 청탁 또는 알선을 한다는 명목으로 금품·향응, 그 밖의 이익을 받거나 받을 것을 약속한 자 또는 제3자에게 이를 공여하게 하거나 공여하게 할 것을 약속한 자는 5년 이하의 징역 또는 1천만원 이하의 벌금에 처한다. 이 경우 벌금과 징역은 병과할 수 있다 Any person who has received money, valuables, entertainments or other interest or has been given a promise to receive such money, valuables, or other interest under the pretext of seeking favors or an advantageous outcome in connection with a case or an affair that is being handled by a public official or has given or promised to give those things to the third party shall be punished by imprisonment with prison labor for not more than five years or by a fine not exceeding ten million won or may be punished by both.
